Cette boîte de pansement faisait partie du paquetage militaire donné aux soldats américains durant la 2ème guerre mondiale. Ces boîtes étaient produites à Chicago. Certaines ont été utilisées, d'autres pas comme c'est le cas pour celle-ci qui n'a jamais été ouverte.
Ces boîtes se sont retrouvées en France à partir du 6 juin 1944, jour du débarquement en Normandie.

This dressing box was part of the military kit given to American soldiers during the 2nd World War. These boxes were produced in Chicago. Some were used, others were not, as is the case with this one, which was never opened.
These boxes ended up in France from June 6, 1944, the day of the Normandy landings.
