Boîte en bois avec une marqueterie représentant un album de bande dessinée de Hergé des aventures de Tintin "Le Trésor de Rackham le rouge".
L'album de bande dessinée "Le Trésor de Rackham le rouge" a été édité par les éditions Casterman en 1945. Cet album sera réédité à maintes reprises au cours des années qui ont suivies.
Tintin et ses amis ont acquis une telle notoriété que des objets dérivés ont été produits à leurs effigies.
Cette boîte est l'oeuvre d'un artisan ébéniste et marqueteur, héritier d’un savoir-faire traditionnel, qui fabrique des objets en bois et taille de fines lamelles en bois, bois précieux ou matières rares, qu’il teinte éventuellement avant de les coller sur la surface de sa création pour l'ornementer.
La 4ème photo présente cet objet à côté d'un album "Le Trésor de Rackham le rouge" afin de pouvoir apprécier le travail de marqueterie réalisé sur cette boîte tout en bois. L'intérieur de la boîte a été recouvert avec du tissu en feutrine rouge.
L'album de bande dessinée "Le Trésor de Rackham le rouge" n'est pas proposé à la vente avec la boîte. Seule la boîte sera livrée.

Wooden box with marquetry representing a comic book album by Hergé from the adventures of Tintin "The Treasure of Red Rackham".
The comic book "Red Rackham's Treasure" was published by Casterman in 1945. This album would be reissued many times in the years that followed.
Tintin and his friends have acquired such notoriety that derivative objects have been produced in their effigies.
This box is the work of a cabinetmaker and marquetry craftsman, heir to a traditional know-how, who makes wooden objects and cuts thin strips of wood, precious woods or rare materials, which he possibly dyes before gluing them to the surface of his creation to adorn it.
The 4th photo shows this object next to an album "Red Rackham's Treasure" in order to be able to appreciate the marquetry work done on this wooden box. The inside of the box has been covered with red felt fabric.
The comic book "Red Rackham's Treasure" is not offered for sale with the box. Only the box will be delivered.
